IGaming Platform

The P2E gaming platform (NDA) is designed to offer blockchain-based P2E games and iGaming experiences. We have developed and tested the first game, which features mystery boxes with varying prices. Each box contains different sets of cryptocurrencies and offers a different maximum win amount. Additionally, players can win other prizes and collect pool prize cards and bonus boxes within each box.

Key contributions

Market Research:

  • Conducted comprehensive secondary market research by examining open-source data, industry reports, and other pertinent resources to gain a thorough understanding of the P2E and iGaming landscape. This research helped me identify gaps in the market and gain a clear understanding of what was missing
  • Analyzed market trends and consumer behavior to inform product development and marketing strategies
  • Conducted a competitive analysis to identify key players and their strengths and weaknesses
  • Estimated the potential market size and conducted market sizing analysis to inform product pricing and sales strategies

Product Development:

  • Initiated and led the product development process, starting with creating the initial product idea and vision, which guided the product scope and roadmap development
  • Developed and tested multiple gaming mechanics of the platform through customer development interviews, and refined the most appealing one based on customer feedback.
  • Created the business model and product economics, and based on that, developed the economical forecast for each year to ensure the product’s financial viability
  • Oversaw the creation of the unit economy and the metric tree
  • Developed a go-to-market strategy, based on multiple iterations, including beta launch 1 and 2, with each iteration defined the OKRs and KPIs to track progress
  • Created user flows, wireframes, and prototypes that went through multiple testing to ensure a seamless user experience
  • Oversaw the feature creation process, from writing PRDs to testing and shipment, ensuring alignment with the product roadmap
  • Developed and maintained technical documentation and support materials for the product to assist users and support team members.
  • Managed project timelines and communicated updates to stakeholders, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives.

Branding & marketing:

  • Conducted customer research to identify key brand attributes and develop brand messaging that resonated with target customers.
  • Developed the branding identity from scratch, including naming and visual identity.
  • Worked with branding agency and wrote clear branding requirements to ensure a seamless delivery of the branding guidelines.
  • Conducted in-depth interviews to test the branding’s target market appeal and fine-tuned it based on the findings.
  • Oversaw the creation of the marketing and content strategy.

The result

Upon launch, the product faced challenges, including a low conversion rate of less than 1% from registration to active player. To address this, I conducted hypothesis-driven tests on our target market, refining the prototype until the conversion rate increased to 11.2%. Customer feedback revealed that the iGaming audience desired multiple games for better engagement and higher ARPU. We began developing additional games using the same iterative approach, with a launch date set for Q3 2023. However, our main investor withdrew due to changes in the economic and political landscape, causing the project to be halted.
